BioWell, it's been an interesting year and a half.
I think.
One May I'm living the life in Rome -- then just like that, I open my eyes and it's October and I'm logging onto some Australian guy's laptop in a backpacker's hostel on Khao San Road. Well, not just like that. I remember some things. Images, smells. Voices. Trains. Sometimes it seems like a year and a half has gone by. Sometimes a decade. Sometimes much more.
But that morning in Bangkok, I opened my eyes and knew I was back, from wherever I'd been. Whoever I'd been, for seventeen months, now I am Buffy again. The Vampire slayer. Well - a vampire slayer. Still chosen. . .just not the one.
I'll tell you the truth. It feels good.
Now I'm headed back to the States, though I'm not sure yet where I'll land. College, maybe. I always wanted to do that. (Well, except when I was actually there). But this time for real. Women's studies, maybe. I hear they let you watch TV, now, and write papers about it. I think I'd be good at that. (I'm just catching up on Veronica Mars. Does anybody else like Veronica Mars?) After that, who knows? Maybe law school.
And, oh yeah. I still slay. In case you were wondering.
